Waiver of Liability

In consideration for participating in any and all Gallatin Valley Newcomers Club (“GVNC”) activities, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue GVNC, its officers, directors, servants, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or injury, including death that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in any GVNC activity, including transportation to and from such activity.  I understand that GVNC will not be responsible for any medical costs associated with an injury I may sustain. I expressly intend that this waiver shall bind the members of my family, heirs, assigns, and personal representatives.

Furthermore, I understand that photographs of members are taken at many of GVNC’s events, including but not limited to luncheons, coffees, excursions, and interest groups.  GVNC maintains a social media presence, such as Facebook and Instagram accounts and prepares an annual Memory Book to document the Club’s events, among other things.  I authorize the use of my photograph for publication by GVNC, provided that it is done for lawful purposes, and acknowledge that I will not be entitled to payment or any sort of charge for such action.  If I do not want to be photographed, it is my responsibility to step out of the photo.
