Gallatin Valley Newcomers Club Supports Local Nonprofits

Annual Fundraiser

GVNC members annually raise funds to support local nonprofits, in recognition of the critical services they provide to our community.  Applications are solicited and our membership votes on the organization(s) to receive the funds raised in that year.  In the last 10 years, we have raised and donated over $215,000 through our annual fundraising events.

General information about our Fundraising process:

Each year, applications are received and the membership votes to select which organization will receive the funds raised. The organization receiving the most votes from our membership will receive the proceeds of our fall fundraiser.

Grant Application Submissions for 2024 are now closed. We will be accepting 2025 grant applications again in October 2024.

GVNC’s 2024 Fundraising to Benefit Family Promise of Gallatin Valley

The Gallatin Valley Newcomers Club, a social and charitable organization, annually undertakes a fundraising campaign with proceeds benefiting a local nonprofit chosen by a vote of the membership. This year we will be raising funds for Family Promise of Gallatin Valley for their kitchen/meeting space renovation project in their Emergency Shelter location.

Raffle Ticket sales kick off at the September 5th Newcomers Club social event and we will pull ticket winners at the November 7th luncheon. We are currently looking for raffle items to include in our themed packages:

  • Night on the Town
  • Wedding or Special Event
  • Pamper your Special Someone Spa Package
  • Pickleball Party
  • Kids’ Fun Night

Our goal is to raise $30,000 and we look forward to your generosity, whether with ticket sales or direct tax-deductible contributions on our website here. If you can support our efforts by donating an item, please contact Sharon Figi at (406) 539-7642 or sharon@hometownmt.com.

Support for our Local Food Bank

The Gallatin Valley Newcomers Club is also a strong supporter of the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.  Members generously contribute food and money to the Food Bank at our monthly coffees and luncheons.
