Learn how to Snowshoe from the Experts at REI
Monday, February 13th, 3 – 4:30pm
Have you always wanted to learn how to snowshoe? Here’s your opportunity! The wonderful folks at REI have set up this class just for us! They will explain how to dress, how to fit snowshoes, how to maneuver hills, where to go, and how to get up when you fall down!
After the class, if you are up for testing out your newfound skills, join us on Saturday, February 18th at 11:00 am in Bozeman (TBD). You will need to bring along your own snowshoes but our friends at REI will be there to help us get set up for our adventure! We will then set off and snowshoe for about an hour.
If you do not have a pair of snowshoes, you may rent a pair, on a first come, first serve basis, at Roundhouse Sports for $20. They will even add extenders (for free) if you want them (nice to have if we get a fair amount of new snow). You should plan to pick up a pair Friday afternoon around 4-430 pm since they only have about a dozen pairs to rent out.
When: Monday, February 13th, 3:00p-4:30p
