July 21st EXCURSION [Charles M. Bair Museum, Martinsdale, MT]

Join us for an enjoyable day in Martinsdale, MT, visiting the Charles M. Bair Museum and surrounding grounds. We will enjoy self-guided tours of the Bair Art Museum and Bair Barn as well as a 45 minute guided tour of the Bair home.
The 7,000 square foot Charles M. Bair Family Art Museum opened in 2011. The various Bair Collections are displayed in the art museum and in the Bair family home which are located on what was once one of the world’s largest sheep ranches, at times running 300,000 head of sheep
Collections include Western American paintings, European and American paintings, Native American objects, Edward S. Curtis photogravures from the North American Indian series, late 19th and early 20th century Navajo weavings, Georgian period furniture and silver, and an eclectic collection of European decorative and fine arts objects.
Afterward we will enjoy a no host lunch at a place to be determined.

Cost: $30/person for museum entry and gas for drivers. No-host lunch additional.
