Charity Auction

GVNC ANNUAL FUNDRAISER FOR CHARITY

The Annual Charity Auction is our primary fundraising activity with proceeds going to 501(c)(3) non-profits operating in the Gallatin Valley.   GVNC members select the charities who will be the recipients of the proceeds from our annual auction.  We also have a huge bake sale offering many wonderful sweets and savories for Christmas and the holiday season.  The event features a sit-down luncheon, silent and live auctions.  Our 2020 Charity Auction will be  held on Thursday December 3.

Recipients 2019:

Our 2019 Charity Auction was held on December 5 at Riverside Country Club. The Newcomers’ holiday auction was a big success thanks to the many member volunteers (well over 50!) and the generosity of the many businesses in our community who donated to our silent and live auctions. And of course to the Newcomers members who participated in the bidding and the cash call.

We are most pleased to announce that we are donating $11,375 to each of our charities:  the Rock Youth Center and the HRDC Warming Center. Heartfelt thanks to both organizations for the services they provide in our community. Checks will be presented to both organizations at our February 5 luncheon meeting.

The Rock Youth Center Mission: Love all, Serve all

  • The Rock Youth Center is a safe space for Bozeman’s school community to spend their time outside of school and home. We exist to provide a safe place where kids are welcomed, loved, and encouraged to grow in every aspect of their lives. Website

The Warming Center, a Program of HRDC IX  Mission:  We believe everyone deserves a warm, safe place to sleep during the coldest months of the year

  • The Warming Center offers seasonal shelter to anyone in need- families with children, single adults, and couples are welcome.  Separate sleeping areas are provided. Trained staff and volunteers are on-site at all times during operating hours.    Website
